Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, Intermediate Care Nursery (ICN), and Postpartum units
- Float among Labor and Delivery, ICN, Postpartum, and NST Clinic as needed
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Perform non-stress testing (NST) and related assessments in the NST clinic setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- At least one prior travel contract or per diem experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple mother-baby units including ICN and Postpartum
- Familiarity with NST clinic procedures and fetal monitoring
