X-Ray Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Evening Shift (5x8, 14:00–22:30) | Every 3rd weekend, holidays, and on-call required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of diagnostic X-ray imaging including chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, and head studies in an acute care hospital setting
• Operate mobile and surgical imaging equipment including C-Arm and O-ARM in OR and other clinical environments
• Perform portable imaging at bedside as needed across multiple care settings including ER, ICU, NICU, and the Operating Room
• Respond to on-call assignments as required to meet facility imaging needs
• Document and chart imaging activities accurately using Cerner electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required
• Active Illinois state radiologic technology license required at time of application (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience required
• OR imaging experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency across a broad range of X-ray skill areas including abdomen/GI, chest/thorax, head, spine/pelvis, and upper/lower extremity imaging

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cerner electronic health record experience preferred
• Level I Trauma center experience preferred
• Experience in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, and Operating Room settings
