Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Float among Labor and Delivery, Intermediate Care Nursery, and Postpartum units as needed
- Support patient monitoring in the NST clinic as part of the float rotation
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across all assigned areas during scheduled shifts
- Adhere to weekend scheduling requirements, including Friday and Saturday shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- At least one prior travel contract or per diem nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating across Labor and Delivery, Nursery, and Postpartum units
- Familiarity with NST clinic monitoring and procedures
