Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting
- Float among Labor and Delivery, Intermediate Care Nursery, and Postpartum units as needed
- Support patients in the Non-Stress Test (NST) clinic as part of the float rotation
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across all assigned areas in accordance with facility protocols
- Participate in weekend coverage on Fridays and Saturdays
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- At least one prior travel contract or per diem nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working across multiple perinatal units including Postpartum and Nursery
- Familiarity with Non-Stress Test (NST) monitoring and clinic workflows
