Key Responsibilities

• Independently provide holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the OB unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all assigned patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse
• Deliver age-appropriate care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-op gynecology patients
• Perform general and unit-specific clinical skills while demonstrating clinical competency and sound nursing judgment
• Manage supplies and equipment while promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel across departments
• Adhere to all Standards of Nursing Practice and hospital policies including confidentiality, advance directives, and ADA compliance

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum of one year acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate (NRP)
• STABLE certification
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or obstetric nursing
• Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated computer proficiency
