Job Title

• Registered Nurse - ICU / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (12-hour shifts), 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in ICU, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Float within units of equal or lower acuity as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and perform IV starts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or state licensure in Ohio).
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Demonstrated experience with IV starts and telemetry.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity levels.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• Experience working night shifts in acute care settings.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.

Shift Information

• Night (3x12 Hours): 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Travel Compliance

• Strict fingerprinting completion by Tuesday prior to start.
• Candidates outside Ohio must drive to fingerprinting locations or complete mailed packets promptly.
• Travel candidates must include approved RTO in contract.
• Only submit to one location; the team will find the best fit.

Reference Requirements

• Two professional references, including at least one from a manager or supervisor.
• Former employees who have been away for 6+ months are eligible.
• Current employees cannot be considered for travel assignments.

Additional Notes

• All candidates must be prepared for Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon signing.
• RTO must be included with submission.
• Locals accepted at the same rate.
