Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite | Some Weekend Shifts Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients including active management of labor, induction, and augmentation
- Monitor and manage high-risk antepartum patients including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
- Support VBAC/TOLAC patients and respond to maternal emergencies
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 for Labor and 1:3 for Antepartum
- Float between units as needed within the facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- Experience in acute care high-risk Labor and Delivery
- Proficiency in antepartum care, pre-eclampsia management, and maternal emergency response
- Ability to work night shifts including some weekend shifts
- Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with VBAC/TOLAC patient management
- Background working with high-risk obstetric populations including multiples and diabetic patients
- Familiarity with completing onboarding compliance modules independently prior to start
