Key Responsibilities
- Provide sterile surgical assistance in Orthopedic, Spinal, and Robotics procedures
- Support surgical teams during high-volume orthopedic and spine surgeries
- Assist with instrumentation, equipment setup, and maintaining sterile environment
- Respond to call and on-call requests on rotation, including weekends and holidays
- Ensure compliance with certification and credentialing requirements prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist or Surgical Tech
- Knowledge of orthopedic, spine, and robotics procedures (e.g., Mako, Rosa, Cori)
- Current BLS certification
- NBSTSA certification (or eligibility, certification not mandatory)
- Able to work within 30 minutes of the hospital and respond to a minimum 2-hour callback
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with robotics in orthopedic OR, including Mako, Rosa, and Cori systems
- Familiarity with fast-paced surgical environments in specialty hospitals
