• Full-time, day shifts, 4x10-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub in a variety of surgical procedures including ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Orthopedic, and Plastics.
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care within a community hospital setting.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sterile procedures during surgeries.
• Collaborate with Surgical Team to deliver high-quality patient care during operations.
• Adhere to hospital protocols regarding surgical standards and patient safety.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, specifically with Orthopedic and Spine cases.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Experience circulating in ENT, General Surgery, Total Joints, Neuro/Spine, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Plastics.
• Proficient in scrub techniques, particularly in Vascular cases.
• Ability to work day shifts consistently.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in community hospital environments.
• Ability to proficiently scrub in various surgical specialties beyond total joints.
• Familiarity with outpatient surgical procedures.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.

Travel Compliance: Tier 3 Travel regulations apply. References covering 1 year (or 6 months for CNAs) are required during the compliance process and prior to start.

Modules: Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, completed pre-start and annually, with progress tracked in Workramp.

Note: Previous permanent staff are not permitted to work as travelers at this facility, regardless of elapsed time; any Swedish perm staff are a hard stop for all OR units and specialties.
