Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Location
Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10 Hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | On-call requirement: 1 week every 2 months | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
- Assist with cardiac procedures including ablation, cardioversion, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies
- Support pacemaker and defibrillator insertion, programming, and lead extraction/removal
- Assist with Cardiac Implant Closure Device procedures and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Closure
- Participate in arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and insertion/programming of AICDs
- Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled per unit requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of EP Lab experience
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Ability to comply with state fingerprinting and credentialing requirements in a timely manner
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a broad range of EP Lab procedures including cardioversion and cardiac mapping
