Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting under applicable nursing standards
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level acute care and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit
- Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required
- Ability to work night shift hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Compliance with all facility credentialing and health requirements prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or PCU environment
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and intermediate-level cardiac care
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
