Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse – PCU/Stepdown (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Nights, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced patient care for neuro and trauma patients in a 44-bed Progressive Care Unit
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform neuro and spinal checks
• Assist with procedures such as chest tube management, PCA pump operation, IV infusions, and patient lifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• NIHSS experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro and trauma care experience
• Experience with procedures such as lumbar drains, feeding tube placement, and blood transfusions
