Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-volume postpartum unit operating at a 1:4 couplet ratio
- Perform and interpret non-stress tests and assist with hyperemesis management
- Administer magnesium, insulin drips, and heparin drips per physician orders
- Monitor maternal and newborn patients within a Level IV maternal and Level III NICU-affiliated unit
- Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and unit clerks to maintain safe, team-oriented patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of postpartum or mother-baby nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- NRP Advanced Provider certification (not Essentials)
- Proficiency with electronic medical records; experience with Meditech and/or CPN preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Labor & Delivery or antepartum nursing experience
- Experience in a high-volume birth setting
- Strong teamwork orientation and communication skills
