Travel RN – Behavioral Health (Geriatric Psychiatry)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Geriatric Psychiatry inpatient unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:8–1:9
- Perform behavioral health admissions and discharges in accordance with unit protocols
- Serve as a Lead RN resource, with classes and training provided
- Float to other inpatient adult behavioral health units as needed
- Utilize Meditech EMR and Welsh Allen vital signs equipment to document and monitor patient care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and Mental Health Technicians across all shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with current Registered Nurse credentials
- Minimum of 1 year of current Behavioral Health nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- CPI Certification (Calm Every Storm Certification also accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong inpatient Behavioral Health experience
- Flexibility and ability to manage varied patient acuity levels
- Team-oriented mindset with demonstrated compassion in patient care
