Key Responsibilities
- Administer therapeutic intravenous (IV) medications to outpatient oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Administer blood products safely and in compliance with facility standards
- Monitor patients throughout infusion therapy and respond to adverse reactions or changes in condition
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of RN Infusion experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or cancer center setting
- Familiarity with infusion nursing best practices and chemotherapy safety protocols
