Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:30–08:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3
  • Work night shift hours in a Trauma Level 1, teaching hospital environment
  • Electronically self-schedule shifts within designated scheduling periods, subject to manager approval to ensure balanced coverage
  • Float to Post Partum or affiliate hospital units as needed
  • Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license – required at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • 2 supervisor references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a Trauma Level 1 or teaching hospital setting
  • Familiarity with Cerner charting system
  • Experience in or willingness to float to Post Partum units
