Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:30–08:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2–3
- Work night shift hours in a Trauma Level 1, teaching hospital environment
- Electronically self-schedule shifts within designated scheduling periods, subject to manager approval to ensure balanced coverage
- Float to Post Partum or affiliate hospital units as needed
- Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license – required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- 2 supervisor references required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Trauma Level 1 or teaching hospital setting
- Familiarity with Cerner charting system
- Experience in or willingness to float to Post Partum units
