Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill pediatric patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation and medical records
• Participate in weekend coverage and holiday shifts as required per unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of assignment or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatrics experience required; 3+ years preferred
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment (first-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of recent experience)
• Willingness to work weekends as needed and up to 2 of 3 end-of-year holidays if they fall within the assignment period
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local radius rule strictly enforced)
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO will be accommodated after an offer is made

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred for this position
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• 3 or more years of recent CVPICU or Pediatric critical care experience
