Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services across assigned units, with flexibility to float internally between departments as needed
- Deliver specialized care in a Level 3 NICU environment, including management of critically ill neonatal patients
- Operate and manage advanced ventilation equipment including Nitric Oxide, Jet ventilation, and Oscillator ventilation
- Adapt to variable shift scheduling while maintaining consistent, high-quality patient care
- Follow campus acuity-based patient ratios and adhere to all unit protocols and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Demonstrated Level 3 NICU experience
- Competency in Nitric Oxide, Jet ventilation, and Oscillator ventilation
- Ability to float internally between departments and maintain scheduling flexibility
- Availability to work every other weekend per collective bargaining agreement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel contract experience in a respiratory therapy role
- Experience working in high-acuity hospital environments with variable census and staffing demands
