Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the Endoscopy/GI laboratory setting.
- Assist with minimally invasive procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, and EBUS.
- Ensure proper reprocessing and high-level disinfection of Olympus endoscopes.
- Support patient safety and comfort pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Follow infection control protocols and unit policies to maintain a sterile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year current acute care Endoscopy RN experience.
- Valid RN license.
- BLS certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PACU experience.
- Experience with Olympus scopes and endoscope reprocessing.
- Circulating and tech procedures in the Endoscopy suite.
- ACLS certification.
