- Travel, Days shift, 10 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during cardiovascular procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels throughout surgeries.
- Maintain sterile environment and assist with surgical instrumentation.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards for perioperative care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or appropriate state.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR or Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Ability to work 10-hour day shifts.
- Strong understanding of perioperative nursing protocols.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures and instrumentation.
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) preferred.
