Registered Nurse – ICU (Critical Care Float Pool)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Float within a Critical Care Float Pool, providing nursing care across multiple ICU settings including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU
• Deliver high-acuity patient care in alignment with unit needs and staffing requirements
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support, telemetry monitoring, and IV access
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as determined by staffing and patient acuity needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Active, valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Demonstrated experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience floating across multiple critical care unit types
