Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) | Weekends Required | 72-Hour Guarantee per Two-Week Period

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing functions including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instrumentation and trays
• Pick surgical cases accurately using supply knowledge across a high-volume environment averaging 65 surgical cases and 1,200 trays dailySupport specialty service lines including Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, Pediatrics, Urology, General Surgery, and GYN
• Float to a sister campus as needed within skill set
• Maintain quality standards as a member of a teaching Sterile Processing department
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Sterile Processing experience required
• Active CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification required
• Ability to work rotating weekends
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local candidates accepted)
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be available to commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume surgical environment with diverse service lines
• Strong case-picking skills and familiarity with surgical supply inventory
• Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
