Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (07:30 AM – 06:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and document during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
• Provide patient care and monitoring before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure protocol adherence and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with procedure setup and cleanup
• Work on-call every other weekend or potentially every third weekend, as scheduled
• Participate in holiday coverage as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
• Valid Ohio license or Compact license in hand
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a high-volume cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology lab within a hospital environment
• Strong documentation and circulation skills in cardiac procedures
• Ability to recognize and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately

• Candidates must have a permanent Ohio license or a valid Compact license issued on or after 01/01/2023
• Two recent management references from the past 12 months are required for qualification
• Travelers must be nicotine-free (excluding Nurses and CSTs, who are exempt) and pass drug screens within the past 12 months
• No license hits or open BG cases accepted
• All required certifications must be active and current
• Modules (average 6–15 hours pre-start and annual) are billable; additional hours for pre-start modules are non-billable
• Travelers are eligible to extend contract up to 18 months, with a mandatory 6-month break afterward unless deferred by client approval
