Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | 80 hours per pay period (alternating 44-hour and 36-hour weeks) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required | Overtime available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, with a primary focus on residents with dementia diagnoses
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Utilize EMR (Matrix) and paper flowsheets to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across a two-story, 43-bed facility
- Participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with occasional 8-hour shifts
- Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday
- Familiarity with dementia patient care and related clinical protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience using Matrix EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
- Previous travel or contract nursing experience in a LTC or SNF setting
- Comfort working in a smaller, community-based facility environment
