Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Complete required facility modules and annual competencies as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition assessment and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
• No open background or license hits; background check required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
• Recent verifiable reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months in the applicable specialty
