Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (5x8 Hours, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical laboratory testing within the scope of an MLT or MT, including Blood Bank and Microbiology procedures
- Conduct phlebotomy as required to support laboratory operations
- Utilize Meditech for laboratory charting and documentation
- Float within the laboratory department as needed to meet facility demands
- Maintain accurate and timely processing of specimens and reporting of results
Required Qualifications
- Active MLT or MT certification required
- Valid Kentucky state license or compact license in hand at time of submittal (pending license accepted for MT)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an MLT or MT
- Blood Bank experience required
- Phlebotomy experience required
- Meditech experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Microbiology experience strongly preferred
- Prior experience working night shift in a clinical laboratory setting
