Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (5x8-Hour Shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of all surgical items including drills, robotic surgical instruments, and scopes
• Assemble instruments across all service lines including trauma sets, loaner trays, and peel packaging
• Execute sterilization processes utilizing Sterrad and steam sterilization methods
• Perform High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and endoscope reprocessing using systems such as Medivator and Scope Buddy
• Maintain sterile storage areas and serve as an OR Liaison as needed
• Utilize instrument tracking systems to document and manage sterile processing workflow

Required Qualifications

• Active CBSPD or CRCST certification required
• Demonstrated experience in all areas of a sterile processing department
• Proficiency with High-Level Disinfection (HLD) procedures and scope reprocessing
• Experience with sterilization methods including Sterrad and steam
• Ability to work independently across decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and sterile storage areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Censitrac or similar instrument tracking systems
• Familiarity with robotic surgical instrument reprocessing
• OR Liaison experience within a surgical services department
• Experience processing loaner instrumentation and trauma sets
