Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Contract / Travel)

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehabilitation patients
• Deliver ADL training and standard inpatient rehabilitation treatments, targeting approximately 5 to 6 hours of patient treatment per day
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT systems as part of patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, nurses, and rehabilitation aides
• Float to other inpatient rehabilitation units within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Texas (or eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation practices and procedures
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hands-on experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Willingness to work weekends (minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period is expected)
• Outgoing and adaptable personality with strong clinical initiative
