Contract | Travel | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry settings as part of a float pool
• Float to various units and hospital locations as assigned based on staffing needs
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, responding appropriately to changes in condition
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Adhere to facility dress code (solid navy scrubs) and all applicable clinical protocols
• Work early start shifts when available and compliant with scheduling requirements

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Alabama or a valid Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted); must be verifiable through NURSYS
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Red Cross equivalent
• Minimum of 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional licensure, with at least 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry specialty (2 years preferred)
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple units and hospital locations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Prior experience working in a float pool or multi-unit clinical environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR platform
