Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-Call: Saturday–Wednesday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | Projected Start: August 17, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures including HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and stress tests in a 2-room nuclear medicine unit
- Operate GE Infinia and GE Discovery imaging equipment
- Work independently as a solo-run unit during day shift hours
- Document and manage patient information using Meditech Magic/Expanse, Merge Cardio, Cardinal Health, Xcelaris, and PACS systems
- Adhere to JCAHO standards and facility protocols as outlined in unit guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active NMTCB or ARRT (NM) certification required
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure required
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Demonstrated understanding of JCAHO standards and regulations
- Ability to work independently in a solo-run unit environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- IV skills
- Direct patient care experience
- Self-starter with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
