Full-Time, Permanent | Nights | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams at a technical level without direct supervision
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment, prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections
• Maintain quality control standards and adhere to ARRT Standards of Ethics and departmental policies and procedures
• Support service excellence initiatives within the Radiology Department

Required Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
• Approved CPR certification
• ARRT registration and Fluoroscopy permit required to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, radiographic exposure principles, radiation physics, and radiation protection
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray
• One year of experience in CT imaging
• Current radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
• Advanced certification in CT and/or Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California
