Full-Time, Permanent | Nights | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams at a technical level without direct supervision
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment, prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications
- Prepare and administer contrast media and perform intravenous contrast injections
- Maintain quality control standards and adhere to ARRT Standards of Ethics and departmental policies and procedures
- Support service excellence initiatives within the Radiology Department
Required Qualifications
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)
- Approved CPR certification
- ARRT registration and Fluoroscopy permit required to be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, radiographic exposure principles, radiation physics, and radiation protection
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Two years of experience in diagnostic x-ray
- One year of experience in CT imaging
- Current radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification
- Advanced certification in CT and/or Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California
