Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 18:30–07:00) | Onsite | Weekends and holidays as needed | Call required (M–F 21:00–06:30; Sat–Sun 06:30–19:00 or 18:30–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment
- Perform scrub and/or circulating RN duties across a variety of surgical specialties including neurosurgery, spine, orthopedic spine, and complex general surgery
- Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled, including weekday and weekend call rotations
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative continuum
- Adhere to all facility compliance, credentialing, and documentation requirements in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 3 years of operating room or surgical technologist experience
- Experience in a Level I Trauma and Neurosurgery setting
- Hands-on experience in neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/orthopedic spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric procedures
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in ENT, GU, plastics, or burns
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
