Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Rotation | Holidays Required | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct postpartum nursing care to mothers and newborns in a Mother Baby unit
- Administer and monitor magnesium drips and telemetry as clinically indicated
- Participate in every other weekend rotation and required holiday coverage for seasonal staffing needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Complete required facility onboarding documentation and comply with health and immunization requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of postpartum / Mother Baby nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Candidates must have a minimum 6-month separation if previously employed at this facility in any capacity (permanent, per diem, or travel)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with magnesium drip administration and management
- Experience with telemetry monitoring in a postpartum or obstetric setting
