Key Responsibilities
- Perform generalist laboratory duties spanning multiple departments including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Blood Bank, Serology, and Microbiology
- Collect patient specimens through phlebotomy procedures
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities approximately one day per week
- Provide weekend coverage approximately one weekend per month as needed
Required Qualifications
- Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification or equivalent credential (e.g., Medical Technologist or Clinical Lab Scientist)
- Demonstrated competency in generalist laboratory functions
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques
- Ability to perform on-call and rotating weekend shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a generalist lab setting covering multiple disciplines simultaneously
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS)
