Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–1530) | 5×8s, 40 hrs/week; shift length (8, 10, or 12 hours) dependent on surgical schedule | On-call rotation: approximately one day every 11 days during the week and one weekend every 11 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery care for patients in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical department
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from a high volume of low-acuity surgical procedures including Total Joint, Orthopedic Spine, Arthroscopic repairs, GYN, General Surgery, Robotic, Urology, and Endoscopy cases
• Perform IV starts and continuously assess patients for hemodynamic stability and aberrant cardiac rhythms
• Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled to support surgical volume demands

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proficiency in both Ambulatory Surgical and Phase I/II Recovery settings
• Proficient in IV insertion and recognition of aberrant cardiac rhythms
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
• Ability to practice independently and hit the ground running from day one

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supporting robotic-assisted surgical procedures (e.g., da Vinci, MAKO, Globus platforms)
• Familiarity with urological procedures such as laser lithotripsy, TURBT, and TURP
• Background in high-volume, ambulatory surgical environments
