Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
• Maintain a patient caseload consistent with departmental ratios (approximately 20 patients per Radiation Therapist)
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
• Document patient treatment records and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical team
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid Texas Radiation Therapist license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience required
• Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the facility (local candidates only)
• Must be available to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal
• Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a pediatric or trauma center environment
• Familiarity with radiation therapy workflows in a high-volume clinical setting
