Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed treatment plans
- Maintain a patient caseload consistent with departmental ratios (approximately 20 patients per Radiation Therapist)
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately
- Document patient treatment records and report any changes in patient condition to the appropriate clinical team
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Radiation Therapist license in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience required
- Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the facility (local candidates only)
- Must be available to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a pediatric or trauma center environment
- Familiarity with radiation therapy workflows in a high-volume clinical setting
