Contract (13–20 weeks) | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during overnight shifts
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Accurately document and submit hours worked through the designated time-tracking system

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel assignments
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance-driven submission processes
• Experience with pre-employment module completion and online learning management systems
