Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Weekdays and rotating weekends and holidays | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of approximately 1:3
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
• Initiate and manage IV access and related therapies
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by unit needs
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PCU/Stepdown experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• IV start proficiency
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in a high-acuity stepdown or PCU setting
