Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Document hours worked and maintain compliance with facility timekeeping systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license – must hold a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months is required; co-worker references will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience within a single facility location
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication administration assessment tools
• Experience working in a high-volume or health system environment
