Physical Therapist – Acute Care

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 8:00–16:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy services to patients in a short-term acute care setting
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans at a 1:1 patient ratio
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional goals
• Participate in weekend rotation alongside full-time therapy staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist state license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Ability to commit to weekend rotation as scheduled
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations and fast-paced hospital settings
