Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Technologist – EEG

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00–19:30) | On-call required (1–2 call shifts every 6 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EEG procedures across a variety of case types including Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, and Critical Care
- Conduct collodion/glue EEG hook-ups as a required technical skill
- Work within a short-term acute care facility serving all patient populations, including pediatric patients
- Float between assigned units and affiliate hospital locations as needed
- Participate in initial training period, which may include 5x8-hour day shifts during the first one to two weeks
- Must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience
- ABRET certification required
- R.EEG T credential required
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with collodion/glue EEG hook-up technique
- Comfort working with all patient populations, including pediatrics
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Prior experience in an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit or Neurotelemetry setting
- Familiarity with sEEG and Ictal SPECT procedures
