Key Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing behavioral, emotional, or mental health disorders.
• Deliver individual, group, family, and marital therapy; conduct bio-psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and review progress regularly.
• Offer crisis intervention services during clinic hours and shared rotating after-hours crisis support at multiple clinic locations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health records, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and local community agencies to coordinate patient care and ensure appropriate referrals.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); license must be maintained for duration of employment.
• Valid State of Alaska Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based therapy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment and diagnosis criteria.
• Experience providing services to patients of all ages.
• Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements and documentation regulations (HIPAA, CARF, The Joint Commission, HRSA, Medicaid).
