Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a PCU/IMC/Stepdown setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and coordinate rapid response as needed
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, manage heparin protocols, PCA, and procedural sedation
• Perform IV therapy including central line care, PICC line management, blood product administration, and phlebotomy
• Provide respiratory management including tracheostomy care, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Fulfill charge RN assignments and holiday shifts as needed; float between departments, units, and facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – must hold both Kansas and Missouri licensure or a compact license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, Stepdown, or related setting
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, neurological care (CVA), and renal/hemodialysis management
• Experience with wound care, wound VAC, isolation precautions, and surgical drain management
• Willingness to float between departments, units, and facilities as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Background in pre/post cardiac cath, cardiac surgery, or total joint replacement care
