Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00–17:30) | On-Call Required (Nights/Weekends) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology and special procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, embolization, carotid angiography, stent placement, central venous access/port placement, dialysis graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and upper and lower extremity angiography
- Set up equipment, prepare access sites, and serve as room circulator during procedures
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment, including PACS and Siemens systems, and document patient care using EPIC
- Maintain inventory and stock supplies to ensure procedure readiness
- Adhere to sterile technique, isolation precautions, and proper PPE protocols
- Participate in on-call rotation covering nights and weekends; float between departments, units, and facilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology or special procedures experience
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) and Vascular Interventional (ARRT VI)
- Active BLS certification
- Active licensure in both Kansas and Missouri, or a compact license valid in both states, at time of submission
- Home address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
- No pending licenses accepted; all credentials must be active and verified at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Stroke IR, Body IR, and Neuro IR procedures
- Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment and EPIC electronic health records
- First-time travel technologists are welcome to apply
