Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends and Holidays as Needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Complete orientation requirements including computer-based training and floor hours
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pulmonary nursing experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
