Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry/medical-surgical unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Float to like units as needed, serving as first to float when required
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements every other weekend
- Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Must pass a pre-placement EKG competency test
- Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer; no time-off requests permitted during contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience
- Demonstrated comfort with floating to similar patient care units
