Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Maintain and apply clinical competencies, including management of ventilator and tracheostomy patients
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care delivery
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license or multi-state RN license (compact)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related specialty
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Demonstrated ventilator and tracheostomy (vent/trach) experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an LTAC or telemetry setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute or long-term acute care environments
- Experience working in a high-acuity, fast-paced LTAC environment
