Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage patient assignments within a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 20-bed unit
• Deliver care in a Level 3 trauma center environment, including chest pain and stroke receiving center protocols
• Collaborate with EMS and interdisciplinary teams to assess and treat approximately 100 patients per day
• Perform timely triage, assessment, intervention, and documentation in accordance with department standards

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on Emergency Department RN experience
• Ability to work full-time night shifts
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an acute emergency care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 3 trauma center or accredited chest pain/stroke center
• Familiarity with high-volume EMS intake and multi-acuity patient management
• Experience caring for a broad patient population including pediatric and geriatric patients
