Contract | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the California Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Monitor and respond to telemetry and LTAC patient needs throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an LTAC or related acute care setting
- Current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring in an LTAC environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care settings
