Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13–26 Week Assignment | 36- or 48-Hour Weeks Accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Stepdown unit, monitoring and managing patients with cardiac conditions and arrhythmias
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythm and patient status, initiating appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Float to other units and campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Complete required pre-assignment modules and maintain annual compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience (required)
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Must pass required medication and arrhythmia examinations prior to assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or progressive care setting
